New Manager Training
We offer a variety of in-person and virtual training programs throughout the year for employees at all levels.
Our in-house Learning & Development team hosts regular in-person training sessions for select groups. Participants in our "BD Essentials" and "Tenured Recruiter" training programs travel to our corporate office for a week of in-person training and networking with colleagues from across the country.
In our field offices, our local Clinical teams invite caregivers into the office for annual Skills Fairs to renew compliance and skills certifications.
We also offer virtual workshops for Business Development and Field Support groups.
Continuing education for nurses
We provide our caregivers with state-of-the art continuing education opportunities. The Maxim Rewards Continuing Education (CE) Program is designed to reward our caregivers with credits to help them advance their careers and maintain certifications. The CE program is web-based so employees can take courses when it is convenient for them. Transcripts and certificates of completion can be printed from any desktop. Participating Maxim offices provide this service at no cost.

Novice Nurse Training Program
Our Novice Nurse Program is designed to provide a year of hands-on learning and/or support to RNs, LPNs and LVNs with less than one year of experience. Novice nurses partner with an experienced Maxim nurse who provides real-time feedback, training, and mentorship.
The Recruiter Training Program is a comprehensive and tiered program designed to develop four fundamental recruiting skills: sourcing, screening, selecting, and placing. The program provides a clear pathway for growth and professional development for new recruiters.
We partner with universities and colleges to significantly reduce the cost of select degree programs for our team members and caregivers. This includes waivers for application fees, personalized coaching, and potential direct delayed billing.
Through the Social Justice Committee of the Maxim Charitable Foundation, we are proud to award The Future of Healthcare educational scholarships to students pursuing education or training in either a clinical field or the healthcare industry.
