Customer Service Data Specialist III
Location: Columbia, MD
Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour + $3,200 Annual Bonus Potential


The Customer Service Data Specialist III is responsible for accurately entering employee data changes into ADP Enterprise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides back-up coverage to the Internal Payroll Forms mailbox
  • Manages the Global Cash Card process
  • Provides back-up for the Customer Service Data Specialist team
  • Assists with training for new hires and/or new processes
  • Manages Worker Comp updates
  • Distributes and assists with reporting
  • Research payroll issues
  • Processes all Change Request Forms for Maxim’s external employees, including, but not limited to, tax forms, direct deposits, and employee status forms
  • Maintains and updates tickets in the ticketing system
  • Keeps abreast of all changes in tax laws for all states
  • Provides excellent customer service to fellow co-workers, as well as branch offices
  • Files and distributes paperwork to the appropriate personnel
  • Completes all above duties with a high degree of accuracy
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Two to four (2-4) years of data entry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience, is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to analyze personnel and payroll information and take appropriate action
  • Ability to function as a team member
  • Excellent organizational/time-management skills, attention to detail, and follow-through to any outstanding issues
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments
  • Proficiency in the English language is required
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, excel, Teams, etc.)
