Private Duty Nursing/ $1,200-$1,750 Sign on Bonus / Weekly Pay

Maxim Healthcare  is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the East Knoxville area to work with a pediatric patient in the home and at school! No homecare experience required.We also offer a skills advancement program (paid training) if you are interested in further developing your skill set! 

Case 1

  • Patient: Pediatric with g tube; Attends school
  • Schedule: 4/3 rotation 7am-7pm
  • Location: East Knoxville, TN
  • Pay: $26-28/hr
  • Start Date: ASAP, unless you need to work out a notice

Case 2

  • Patient: Pediatric with g tube, trach, and vent
  • Schedule: 4/3 rotation 7pm-7am
  • Location: East Knoxville, TN
  • Pay: $30-32/hr
  • Start Date: ASAP, unless you need to work out a notice

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

  • Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
  • Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
