- Develops goals, programs, materials, and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Oversees the work of Behavior Technicians as assigned by Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) or Operations Leader
- Conducts face-to-face case and Behavior Technician supervision for assigned caseload
- Assists Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) in behavioral and skill acquisition assessments
- Trains Behavior Technicians in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.
- Trains families, caregivers, and school staff in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.
- Assists Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) in updating behavior change plans including current progress on behavior goals and skill acquisition goals
- Monitors progress and treatment effectiveness of behavioral programs under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor (BCBA)
- Conducts clinical interviews and participates in hiring decisions in collaboration with Clinical
- Manager-Behavioral or other office clinical leader
- Facilitates the orientation process, competency and skills validation process for behavioral direct care staff
- May conduct skill enhancement training for behavioral caregivers
- Provides behavioral services to children with autism or other behavioral disorders as outlined in the behavioral change plan
- Participates in office and clinical quality initiative activities
- Accountable to all federal, state, local contracts and programs, and Maxim requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must meet at least one of the following educational requirements:
- A master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or similar degree when allowed by state or program.
- Bachelor’s degree and BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst)
- Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst, when applicable by state
- At least one year of experience providing behavioral services to children with autism or other related disorders
- At least one year of experience in providing behavior analytic services in home, school, or community settings
- At least be enrolled in approved BACB courses and preparing for BCBA exam
- Ability to effectively communicate with appropriate individuals (including, but no limited to co-workers, supervisors, clients)
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- At least 18 years of age
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in the English language required
