Front Desk Coordinator
Location: San Antonio, TX
Hourly Rate:$18.00 - $20.00
Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to manage front desk operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support clinical staff with administrative and scheduling tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and manage front desk operations
- Assist candidates through application, hiring, and onboarding processes
- Support billing, payroll, and medical records functions
- Connect with active staff to confirm shift placements and maintain relationships
- Build relationships with clients and staff to understand scheduling needs
- Record caregiver correspondence and maintain accurate schedules in the system of record
- Ensure compliance with contract and eligibility requirements for all placements
- Meet company KPIs to increase care hours and coverage percentages
- Attend patient meetings and admissions as needed
- Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to address staffing shortages and client satisfaction
- Handle scheduling grievances promptly and professionally
- Complete weekly reconciliation of missed hours for clinic leadership
- Assist with opening, closing, and maintenance functions of the clinic
- Perform general office administrative tasks (ordering supplies, answering calls, photocopying, fax management)
- Maintain confidentiality of all client, patient, caregiver, and team member information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience, including typing skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced team environment
- Behavioral health or Applied Behavior Analysis experience preferred
- Meets all federal, state, and local requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and email
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
- Energetic, self-motivated, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
- Active CPR & First Aid certification required
- Fluency in English required
