Join Maxim Healthcare as a School Nurse at Forge Prep
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support students at Forge Prep in Livingston, NJ. This part-time opportunity offers a consistent schedule of two days per week and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a school setting.
We are looking for a reliable nursing professional who can commit to working throughout the entire school year, providing continuity of care and support to students and staff.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed
Assess and respond to illnesses, injuries, and health concerns
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Monitor students with chronic health conditions
Maintain accurate and confidential health records
Collaborate with parents, educators, and healthcare providers
Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations
Qualifications
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a school environment
School nursing or pediatric experience preferred but not required
Schedule & Compensation
2 days per week
Competitive pay: $40-$45 per hour
