Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to provide one-on-one in-home care for a Veteran in the Tunkhannock, PA area. This rewarding opportunity allows you to build meaningful relationships while supporting a Veteran's independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own home.

Position Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one personal care and companionship
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
Bathing and grooming
Dressing assistance
Mobility and transfers
Toileting assistance
Meal preparation and light housekeeping
Medication reminders
Accompany and support client during daily activities
Observe and report changes in condition or behavior
Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Document care according to agency requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, or related experience preferred but not required
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
