Maxim Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing services within school settings. Opportunities are available for full-time, part-time, and substitute positions supporting students throughout the school day.
As a School LPN with Maxim Healthcare, you may work in a variety of settings, including one-to-one student care, bus/transportation nursing, and general school population nursing. This rewarding role allows you to make a meaningful impact on students' health, safety, and educational success.

Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to students with a variety of healthcare needs, including:
Tracheostomy care
Ventilator management
G-tube feedings
Seizure monitoring and administration of rescue medications
Diabetes management
Medication administration
Personal care and health support
Deliver individualized 1:1 nursing care for assigned students as needed.
Provide transportation nursing services, including riding the bus to and from school when required.
Support the health needs of the broader school population in collaboration with school staff and administrators.
Monitor student health status and respond appropriately to medical concerns or emergencies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and Maxim Healthcare policies.
Communicate effectively with families, school personnel, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
Current and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
Current Health Certificate (if required by facility or school district).
Current PPD, TB Test, or Chest X-Ray, as required.
Current BLS/CPR Certification.
One year of nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in school and community settings.
