Data Analyst II Location: Columbia MD - Hybrid Salary Range: $74,000 - $100,000 + $4,500 - $6,000 annual bonus potential

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a skilled and strategic Data Analyst II to lead advanced analytics initiatives, mentor junior analysts, and deliver actionable insights that drive operational and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement complex data models, dashboards, and reports
Define and track KPIs aligned with organizational goals
Serve as a subject matter expert in data governance and quality assurance
Mentor junior analysts and foster team development
Collaborate with IS, finance, clinical, and operations teams to improve data infrastructure
Translate business needs into analytical solutions and insights
Automate and optimize data workflows and reporting processes
Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
Contribute to strategic planning and analytics roadmaps
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics)
2–5 years of experience in data analysis
Intermediate proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Understanding of healthcare regulations and data security preferred
Experience leading projects and collaborating cross-functionally
Excellent communication skills for presenting data to non-technical audiences
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Fluency in English required
