Maxim Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented Reimbursement Specialist to serve as a liaison between office partners, patients, and payers. This role is essential for ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Process and post revenue, making adjustments as needed
Generate and bill claims and invoices to various payer sources via multiple channels
Research and follow up on unpaid accounts after expected payment timeframe
Correct and resubmit claims or appeal determinations to ensure payment
Follow quality processes to minimize write-offs and improve collections
Provide excellent customer service to office partners, patients, and payers
Keep Team Leader informed of problem accounts or potential cash flow impacts
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree preferred
Experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or collections preferred
Quick and accurate alpha/numeric data entry skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and web-enabled applications
Strong customer service skills and commitment to responsibilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and professional image
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
